These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Spiff browser extension and website at spiffauto.com (together, the "Service"), operated by Spiff LLC ("Spiff," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, purchasing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Spiff is a browser extension that reads publicly displayed vehicle information from a dealership web page you are viewing and helps you fill out a Facebook Marketplace vehicle listing form. Spiff assists with data entry only. You review every listing and you choose to publish it. Spiff does not publish listings on your behalf and does not require your Facebook password.
You must create an account with a valid email address to use the Service, and you must confirm that email address before your free listings or the extension will work. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate others or use disposable or fraudulent email addresses to obtain additional free usage.
Subject to these Terms (and, for unlimited use, payment), we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Spiff. Your license is tied to your account and may be used on up to four (4) devices at a time. Sharing your account credentials with others is prohibited. We may suspend or terminate accounts that appear to be shared, automated, or otherwise abused.
After verifying your email, you may create up to five (5) Facebook Marketplace listings using Spiff at no charge. We count a listing when you publish it from the Marketplace form that Spiff has filled. Once you have used your free listings, you must purchase Spiff to continue creating listings. Free usage is provided per account; attempting to obtain additional free usage by creating multiple accounts, or by circumventing usage limits, is prohibited and may result in suspension. We may change or discontinue the free trial at any time.
Spiff is sold as a one-time purchase of $25 USD for unlimited use, tied to your account. There is no recurring subscription. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe; we do not receive or store your card details. We offer a refund within seven (7) days of purchase if Spiff does not work on your dealership sites — contact support@spiffauto.com to request one. Except as stated here or required by law, purchases are non-refundable.
You agree to use Spiff only for lawful purposes and in compliance with the terms of any third-party platform you use it with, including Facebook/Meta. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the listings you create and publish, including pricing, vehicle condition, disclosures, and compliance with advertising and consumer-protection laws applicable to your business. You agree not to misuse, reverse engineer, resell, or attempt to circumvent the licensing, verification, or usage controls of the Service.
Spiff pulls data from pages you choose. You are responsible for verifying that information before publishing. Vehicle data may be incomplete or incorrect, and Spiff applies default values for some fields, which you must review. We are not responsible for listings you publish.
Spiff is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Facebook, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any dealership platform. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. Your use of Facebook Marketplace remains subject to Meta's own terms.
We work to keep Spiff functioning across dealership sites, but websites change and we cannot guarantee Spiff will work on every site at all times. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost profits or listings. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim.
You may stop using Spiff at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Colorado will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
